ADD GRUP turns 20!

ADD GRUP turns 20!
On January 24th, 2012 ADD GRUP celebrated its 20th anniversary. In 1998 the company began the development of its first smart meter, which eventually became a complete AMI solution – ADDAX IMS. Now ADDAX IMS is at its 7th version, uses the industry’s best standards to ensure reliability, interoperability and unparalleled performance.
During this period we have evolved from a local to a global company, and the brand “ADDAX” has become recognized in the whole world. We have more that 2 million ADDAX meters installed in countries as different as: Russia, Ukraine, Sweden, Brazil, Bulgaria, Poland, Indonesia, South Africa, etc. Our system enables utility companies to harness all the benefits of AMI at very low or no operational costs, due to the use of cost effective Power Line Communication (PLC) technology for data transmission.
At the moment we have license agreement with: Matritsa (Russia), Teletek (Ukraine), Itron (Brazil). These companies are manufacturing AMI equipment based on ADDAX technology.
The celebration of the 20th anniversary of ADD GRUP took place at two locations: In Bulgarian mountains and in Moldova and brought together ADD GRUP’s employees and partners.
ADD GRUP means a big team of more than 350. As a company we strongly value our human potential, so the celebration represented an opportunity to enjoy corporate culture, thus becoming a truly engaged in our common endeavor.
At the event ADD GRUP decorated its long term Partners for demonstrating their loyalty and professionalism all along the business relation with ADD. We envision long lasting business collaboration.
For the 2012 year we plan to further increase the production capacity and strengthen our presence in new markets in: Latin America, Africa, South East Asia.
Developments to ADDAX system are also underway. ADDAX equipment with OFDM PRIME capability will be launched in 2012.
